Time & Location

Leeds, 3 Sheaf St, Leeds LS10 1HD, UK
About the Event
This in person event taking place at Duke studios, on the 27th of June (6-8pm), is hoping to help us connect, learn about reparative justice, and honor how the struggle in Abya Yala is connected to us here.
There will be a chance to address the crisis from a holistic perspective through music, food and art. We will also hope to get to know each other and unite ourselves through learning about each other. We will be sharing space with @gbosanights and @sambrown_violinist with some music.
If you are able and confortable please bring some food to share with the space. We hope to nurture our sense of community through music, food, and art!
Just to be safe, lets all avoid nuts and dairy.
If you have any dietary concerns please email: melany@racialjusticenetwork.co.uk
"Environmental destruction & social oppression have always gone hand by hand. Colonialism & slavery are deeply interconnected to the ongoing crisis, so to address it Europe's whitewashed past must be recast and the demands of the colonized taken seriously"
Our space is meant to be accessible, therefore if you are unable to donate for the ticket do not worry, send us an email and we can let you in!
The venue is well ventilated and has wheelchair access. There will be a quiet space for those that need it.
