About the Event
Come and explore how we can collaborate towards a more sustainable, prosperous and resilient city that is ready to meet the many challenges we face as our climate continues to change.
This event will bring together MPs, councillors, local media, business leaders, anchor institutions, sector experts and community organisers, to watch the new documentary film, the People’s Emergency Briefing.
This VIP screening has been organised by Climate Action Leeds. Discussions at this event will contribute to the Leeds Ambitions, particularly towards a ‘Resilient: Sustainable city’.
The afternoon will start with a screening of the new film, which stars Chris Packham, Jennifer Saunders and Deborah Meadon, and lasts around 45 minutes. It features footage from last November’s National Emergency Briefing which brought together leading UK experts in climate science, food security, health, economics, national security and nature.
