Mike Deegan has over 20 years experience working in nature conservation; primarily as a senior manager with a Wildlife Trust. He also served as a parish councillor for almost a decade, where he developed award-winning biodiversity and community projects.  He continues to support community groups and town & parish councils on projects; including local biodiversity initiatives. Mike also provides training to Local Council County Associations around the country on practical measures to help enhance wildlife and address recent UK legislation and policies'
