About the Event

Are you concerned about air quality in Leeds? Would you like to help monitor pollution levels so we can clean up our air?


Climate Action Leeds are working with a group of researchers from the University of Leeds on a citizen science project in Leeds. The project is called SYNERGIA and is focused on air quality monitoring. 


Come and meet the team and find out how you could get involved. If you take part, you will be given an air quality sensor to install at your house or workplace.


The sensors are designed to monitor tiny particles in the air which contribute to health problems. You will have access to view the data via an online portal. Part of the project is to understand how people make sense of the data that is collected, its health implications, and how it can be used to improve air quality.
