About the Event
Want to meet and share ideas with people who care about environmental justice? Then join us for the next Green Drinks Leeds!
We welcome folks from all backgrounds. You can expect to meet students, entrepreneurs, sustainability professionals, community organisers, campaigners, academics and more!
Most of this event will be agenda free - chance to hangout, network, catch up with friends, and find out what is going on in Leeds’ green scene.
This month’s guest speakers are Lesley McKay, from Greenpeace Leeds, and Tony Herrmann, from Zero Carbon Headingley. Lesley and Tony will give a short talk (10 mins) about how environmental campaigners can best engage with their MPs, around 6.30pm. There will also be an environmentally themed ‘pub’ quiz run by Greenpeace Leeds.
We meet at Imagine Leeds: the climate action hub, which is run by Climate Action Leeds at 9 Blenheim Terrace, LS2 9HZ.
