About the Event
Want to meet and share ideas with people who care about environmental justice? Then join us for the next Green Drinks Leeds!
We welcome folks from all backgrounds. You can expect to meet students, entrepreneurs, sustainability professionals, community organisers, campaigners, academics and more!
Most of this event will be agenda free - chance to hangout, network, catch up with friends, and find out what is going on in Leeds’ green scene.
Around 6.30pm we'll be hearing from this month’s guest speaker Alan Thornton from Fruit Works Co-operative. Fruit Works is a social enterprise helping the thriving community food growing movement in and around Leeds. Alan's talk will unpack how you can connect to it, and how we can respond to the challenges. There will be time for a Q&A and discussion after the talk.
There will also be an environmentally themed ‘pub’ quiz run by Greenpeace Leeds.
