Green Drinks Leeds - August 2026

Want to meet and share ideas with people who care about environmental justice? Then join us for the next Green Drinks Leeds!

We welcome folks from all backgrounds. You can expect to meet students, entrepreneurs, sustainability professionals, community organisers, campaigners, academics and more!

Most of this event will be agenda free - chance to hangout, network, catch up with friends, and find out what is going on in Leeds’ green scene.

Around 6.30pm we'll be hearing from this month’s guest speaker Lianne Marie Mease, founder of Leeds-based Ethical Marketing Consultancy Butterflump and leader of the No Leeds Datacentre campaign. Lianne will be sharing her experience of challenging Leeds City Council's planning decision and how it took less than a month to create a collective of over 100 volunteers and inspire 15,000 people to oppose the datacentre. There will be time for a Q&A and discussion after the talk.
