Climate Action Leeds is partnering with Dr Ali Malik (University of Leeds) to host an engaging and collaborative event focused on community preparedness for extreme weather.


As extreme weather becomes more common, communities and practitioners across Leeds and West Yorkshire are exploring how best to prepare, support one another, and build resilience.


This event will bring together local residents, community groups, practitioners, students, and academic colleagues to discuss practical tools designed to help.


It will take place in Seminar Room 2 at the Nexus Building, University of Leeds. Doors will open at 5pm for refreshments and a buffet with options for all dietary preferences. The programme will begin at 5.30pm and will include:
