In light of the recent severe weather and with winter storms approaching, Dr Ali Malik (University of Leeds) has developed practical guidance to help you prepare for extreme weather events.

Floods, storms, and heavy snow can affect anyone - and being prepared is essential. These guidance leaflets outline simple steps you can take to:

  • Protect yourself and your household

  • Support your community and neighbourhood

  • Stay safe during emergencies

We are all vulnerable, but together we can build resilience.
