Seven local environmental groups met with Leeds MP Fabian Hamilton on Friday 25th July at Imagine Leeds, as they sought to make their political views known.
Climate, nature and social justice were top of the agenda, including a focus on the ongoing conflict in Gaza.

Groups in attendance included Climate Action Leeds, Friends of the Earth Leeds, Greenpeace Leeds, Leeds Craftivists, Group for Action on Leeds Bradford Airport, Leeds Community Homes and Leeds Community Energy.
The day was a valuable opportunity for groups to unite for strong climate action, and continue to build bridges with politicians to get Leeds voices heard.
The event was the second MP meet up organised by these environmental groups, after their last collaborative event in March, which was attended by Alex Sobel MP.
The organisers hope to involve more MPs and other local politicians in future discussions.
