Together for Peace, in partnership with Leeds Community Foundation, is providing small grants of up to £5,000 and microgrants of up to £1,500 to support neighbourhood-based climate action projects in Leeds which reduce carbon and/or are nature friendly. Projects can run for up to 1 year.

 

Applications are welcome from small constituted groups, as well as registered community organisations, with income of under £150,000 in the last financial year. Applications from under-served and/or under-represented communities are particularly encouraged.

Examples of activity that can be funded include:

​

  • Local initiatives to reduce carbon and increase access to green spaces, such creating a community garden
     

  • A feasibility study to explore green energy options for a community building
     

  • A repair and recycle hub

The deadline for applications is 12 noon on Wednesday February 28th.
