Our aims
-
To put people at the heart of clean energy in Leeds.
-
To support local community based energy and retrofit projects
-
To connect, share knowledge and create collaborations with communities, through events, energy advice & project support

What is community energy?
LCE is part of a growing national movement of community organisations helping to generate energy to benefit local people. Energy projects that are owned, controlled, or benefit local communities. Putting energy profits back into the local economy rather than big energy companies.
Our goal is to create a greener future for everyone, while getting people involved in making a real difference in their communities. Creating low cost energy, warm healthy homes and reducing carbon.
