In 2026 The Power of Permaculture Principles was published by Permanent Publications. In this collaborative book author Wilf Richards along with over 40 experienced permaculture teachers explore the wealth of permaculture principles to emerge over the last few decades, acknowledging all of the teachers that have contributed to the principles over time. The book shares the definitions and histories of the principles, why they emerged in the first place, the use of principles in the design processes and even how they were used to help write the book. It brings the principles up to date on their convoluted journey, adds in their complexities and cautions and how they are now being used, understood and applied.
