About the Event

The UK are committed to net zero by 2050, to do this we will need to retrofit 26 million homes.

Retrofit: New Approaches Shaping Yorkshire will be a live event exploring what local initiatives could help us decarbonise our housing stock. We’ll hear from the following speakers with facilitated discussions.

Speakers: Neil Mckenna, PhD researcher at the University of Leeds looking at the transformative potential of community-led housing, Neil is also a Planner at Tibbalds Planning and Urban Design, a member of the RTPI.

Deborah Adler, Project Architect at RAFT, a social enterprise committed to providing education & deep retrofit advice to schools andcommunities on the path to zero CO2.

Jamie Keats & Colin Munro, Co-Founders of wrapt, a Leeds based business working with housing associations and homeowners to both design and deliver whole house retrofit.
