About the Event
It’s the fun meetup for people passionate about climate, nature and social justice; it's Green Drinks Leeds!
Get to know other sustainability professionals, community organisers, campaigners, academics, entrepreneurs, students and more! We welcome folks from all backgrounds.
Most of this event will be agenda free - chance to hangout, network, catch up with friends, and find out what is going on in Leeds’ green scene.
Around 6.30pm we'll be hearing from this month’s guest speaker Adam Davies, UK & Ireland Procurement Director for BUNZL. BUNZL are a specialist international distribution and services group, and one of Climate Action Leeds’ sponsors. Adam will be exploring the questions: "Can corporations ever be sustainable?" and "Is it better to change the system from within or without?" There will be time for a Q&A and discussion after the talk.
There will also be an environmentally themed ‘pub’ quiz run by Greenpeace Leeds.
