Green Drinks Leeds - December

Want to meet and share ideas with people who care about environmental justice? Then join us for the next Green Drinks Leeds!

We welcome folks from all backgrounds. You can expect to meet students, entrepreneurs, sustainability professionals, community organisers, campaigners, academics and more!

Most of this event will be agenda free - chance to hangout, network, catch up with friends, and find out what is going on in Leeds’ green scene.

Around 6.30pm we'll be hearing from this month’s guest speaker Nick Hodgkinson, Chair of the Group for Action on Leeds Bradford Airport (GALBA). Nick will give an update on their campaigns to stop LBA and all other airports from expanding. He will briefly outline GALBA’s legal challenges against LBA and against the government’s Jet Zero Strategy, with its focus on alternative aviation fuels. There will be time for a Q&A and discussion of the issues after the talk.
