About the Event
Want to meet and share ideas with people who care about environmental justice? Then join us for the next Green Drinks Leeds!
We welcome folks from all backgrounds. You can expect to meet students, entrepreneurs, sustainability professionals, community organisers, campaigners, academics and more!
Most of this event will be agenda free - chance to hangout, network, catch up with friends, and find out what is going on in Leeds’ green scene.
Around 6.30pm we'll be hearing from this month’s guest speakers Claude Hendrickson MBE and Cynthia Brathwaite from People Powered Homes. Claude and Cynthia will be giving an introduction to community-led housing projects, and outlining what starting your own project involves. They will introduce the process and discuss inspirational projects already happening in Leeds. There will be time for a Q&A and discussion after the talk.
There will also be an environmentally themed ‘pub’ quiz run by Greenpeace Leeds.
