We are at the forefront of applying this new economic model, the first city in the UK to have created a Doughnut City Portrait to provide a snapshot of Leeds across four areas – local social life, local nature, our impact on the planet, and people worldwide.

This approach provides a new way of seeing and being what we have missed: the essential social foundation on which everything is built and the planet's safe operating space for humanity.

It's a model that reconciles social issues, such as inclusivity and diversity, with environmental concerns in a just manner locally and globally.
