Creative Activism Workshop via Climate Action Armley

Climate Action Armley are hosting a workshop at New Wortley Community Centre about creative activism - it's a thorough four-part workshop about how and why storytelling is an effective tool to communicate the climate crisis.

Hosted by Ilze Millere from Beatside: "Stories shape the way we think, act, and view the world. Stories inspire us, expand our minds, and introduce us to new perspectives. By learning to embrace storytelling as a form of activism, we can find ways to connect with people, spread a message that a greener world is possible, and inspire change."

From looking at human psychology and why stories are an essential tool to communicate and comprehend the climate crisis, to exploring green ways of making art, this is a workshop about becoming a creative activist.
