Community Wealth Building - LeedsACTS! Melting Pot event

LeedsACTS! is hosting an event to bring together organisations and individuals interested in exploring potential collaborations around Community Wealth Building, with a round of 'seedcorn' funding to support this.

The event will feature:

• Guest speakers with experience and knowledge around Community Wealth Building and successful collaborations that have taken place between Higher Education Institutions and third sector organisations
• A ‘success story’ from the previous Seedcorn fund; ‘The Right to Green Spaces’
• A networking activity for attendees to form potential collaborations and projects for the fund

LeedsACTS! will then open our seedcorn funding round, with information on how to apply and utilise collaborations made from the networking exercise to apply for this fund.

Who is this event for?

This event is for third sector organisations, community or faith groups, and representatives from universities or other research organisations in Leeds who are interested in finding out about Community Wealth Building, what it involves, the impact it can have and how they can then form a community-led project in partnership with another organisation.
