About the Event

On the 4th of July, the people of Leeds go to the polls to vote for seven members of parliament to send to Westminster.

Which parties care about the climate and nature crises? Join us a week before polling day for an online hustings to hear directly from those who seek to represent us.

The parties have been invited to send one representative each. Find out what solutions they have to the problems facing our climate and natural environment. Our host will be local broadcaster Peg Alexander.

This event has been organised by: Climate Action Leeds, Yorkshire Wildlife Trust, Friends of the Earth Leeds, Greenpeace Leeds, Group for Action on Leeds Bradford Airport, Otley 2030, Zero Carbon Headingley, Christian Climate Action Leeds, Extinction Rebellion Leeds, Fossil Free West Yorkshire and Our Future Leeds.
