About the Event
Want to entertain the kids and help them build confidence around sharing their ideas?
Come to Imagine Leeds and let them try new, Yorkshire-made board games themed around fairness for people and planet.
"Slugs and Trellises" and "Climate Stack" ask kids aged 6 – 11 to work together and think about the big ideas of today and tomorrow, in a way they can relate to.
The sessions will be supervised by the games’ designers: Dr Pedi Obani and colleagues from the University of Bradford, and Moira Flynn plus other members of East Leeds charity Eco-Friendly Garforth.
Sessions will be tailored to primary kids’ attention spans, while any younger brothers and sisters are welcome to play in the enclosed courtyard at the back of the venue (as well as with EFG's hand-painted "Bees and 'Birds" game).
Older children will have the chance to share their views on the design of a toolkit…
