About the Event

CAL has teamed up with theatre students from the University of Leeds to produce an alternative soundtrack to a stroll round some of the city's public green spaces, and the launch of their "Evolving Roots" immersive walk is open to everyone.

The students spent time in locations including Bedford Fields, Hanover Square, and St George's Field, researching and thinking about how these spaces - available for everyone and all in or near central Leeds - connect to wider themes around climate change and the environment.

They then produced audio and video pieces specifically for experiencing in these spaces, and will be offering a guided tour through the different locations to mark the publication of their work.

The tour will start from outside the Clothworkers South building on the University of Leeds Campus. Students will show groups around each area in turn and are very interested to hear your thoughts on…
